Prep-Time

Prepping for Miami. Spending Fourth of July weekend under the sun!! Is there any other way to spend it?? So here are my must haves... Plenty of sunscreen, iPad to catch up on some reading, and most importantly swimwear. Lately I've been obsessed with this hat, I literally wear it with everything. 

Currently smoothies are my go to meals. They're healthy an refreshing. I pre-make my smoothies for the week making it easier to stay on track while on my journey to fitness. It's not always easy, especially with all the ice cream shops and burger joints around.

The weather was gorgeous. We spent the day by the pool. Watching Kiki dive in to the deep end, girl is fearless. Lilly was content cheering her sister on while watching from the sidelines. 

We wind down with some Columbian coffee which was much stronger than I expected. But it was just what I needed while the girls caught their second wind. 

My latest find

I had been looking for a vanity for a few weeks now and I came across this gem while thrifting. It was just what I was looking for to add a touch of femininity and vintage charm. It was originally black. But was painted over in white by previous owners. I sanded it to give it a more distressed antique look.

New Chapter

 I'm a hippy soul, I could move every few months and be happy. My husband on the other hand could live in the same place his whole life. We are complete opposites. So when we both agreed to uproot our family from CT to FL I was elated. It's heaven here between the weather an the gorgeous palm trees. 

Looking forward to our new home it's like a blank canvas I get to create a cute space for my family. Since we purged all out furniture up north. I'm looking forward to a lot of DIY projects. Thinking of using a lot of industrial touches. Also obsessing with navy, copper, and gold.
